The PSE Stinger range of archery bows have always had an excellent reputation with customers swearing by its performance. However, the new PSE Stinger 3G has taken the bow to a new level with a complete redesign of many of the key components. Overall it continues to be the best combination of accuracy, speed and price.
The new Archery Stinger 3G RTS Compound Bow Package has following useful and advance features;
- Machined aluminium riser
- HP cam
- Posi-lock Inner cam
- Convenient draw length alteration
- Improved flexible parallel limb
- 7 ¾” brace height
- Weight ranging between 50 lbs to 70 lbs
- 314 f.p.s. maximum speed
- 33″” axle-to-axle
- Draw setting 29” with adjustable draw length
- Noise reduction
- Shock suppressant
- Tuning alignment marks
- 75% let-off
- Infinity camo bow finish

- Comes with 4-pack of PSE X-Weave Arrows.
Made in the United States of America, the X-Force Drive design is the first reasons for its positive impact with its integrated backstop for suppression of noise and string oscillation. The sound is only a soft click like that of a light switch and not the crack of a whip. With some simple low cost additions, the noise can be made virtually non-existent. The backstop can be finely positioned for maximum effect. The simple riser design helps keep the cost under $300 although the stabiliser hole could have been designed with a brass or steel insert. The pre-stressed aluminium limbs are optimised for performance.
The Vibracheck grip is soft and reduces vibration but is a bit too wide and could be exchanged for the older wood or plastic grips. The Stinger 3G has a new cam system, the HP cam that maintains easy adjustability and smooth draw but has increased the IBO speed to 316 fps.
The Stinger 2G combines excellent draw weight adjustability with longer limb bolts which allows a 70# bow to be reduced to 40# with just ten full turns. This makes it a fine choice for teenager archers to grow with the bow. The finish is durable although the choices of finish are dependent on the version year.
The old PSE stinger bow model was a basic bow but the best thing about it was that it was extremely affordable. It was a bestseller bow as well. But, as far as the new 3G Stinger is concerned, there is nothing basic about it. With each and everything redesigned, the new Stinger is as good as any other expensive bow in the market. Still, the price has been kept low which is the best part.
Overall, it is an excellent light bow that is low budget with features that match more expensive models and is suitable for experienced archers as well as beginners. While it seems rather lightweight, it can still bring down any game the hunter wants to hit.
